I wish I had more time! Things have been non-stop lately, and my birthday coming mid-week was just not great timing, but it was still a quick celebration. Mars out-did himself this year as he always manages too, and surprised me with a stunning Mulberry Bayswater bag in chocolate brown lamb skin. It really is just the most classic bag and oozes Sloan Square, and I just adore it.
Later in the evening we met up with Dad and Jacqui for a quick bite and heard all about their Seychelles trip, which sounded great fun with Dad being captain of their new boat. They gave me a lovely Morrocon lantern which will look great filled with candles for when we have dinner outside, and with the weather now changing so quickly I think that those alfresco evenings are going to be starting sooner rather then later. Thanks everyone for my lovely birthday wishes and love to all!
Well Dad and Jacqui are off in the Seychelles, and hopefully having a wonderful time. They mentioned that they would be spending a couple of nights on the island of Praslin, which I am sure will be really lovely. Anyway it has got me thinking and trying to remember our vacation back in 2009 to the Seychelles, and our somewhat intense introduction to the island, when Mars decided to drive me around the whole island in one day. 8 hours later I can tell you that I had pretty much seen it all!
But it was still a very nice country with a huge mountain right in the centre, which was a lovely scenic drive over. Can’t wait to see Dad and Jacqui’s photo’s when they get back and hear how the island has developed since we were last there.
An afternoon of go karting on Boxing Day with the family.
