Flowers we are growing this year

As spring temperatures finally start to warm up, one of the most exciting aspects is deciding which plants and flowers to add to our garden. This year, there are a few flowers that we are adding, some of which are tried and tested, others that we’re adding for the first time: Alstroemeria, Veronica Royal Candles, Silene, Heucheras, Lupin, Pansies, Tricolour Verbena, Centranthus Ruber Albus and Purrsian Blue Nepeta.

We discuss all the flowers in our weekly vlog

They bloom from late spring to early fall and are perfect for adding a pop of color to any garden. Alstroemeria is easy to care for and thrives in well-draining soil and full sun to partial shade. They are also a great cut flower, making them a wonderful addition to any floral arrangement.
