How to naturally improve the quality of your veg garden soil

by Mars

Our veg garden has been doing very well since everything was planted and seeded out in May, but we’ve seen a gradual slowdown in growth that we attributed to a cool, overcast summer and declining nutrients in the soil.

There’s not much we can do about the weather, but we can enrich the soil and give our vegetables a boost. While we wait for our compost heap to break down our own organic matter, we received Soil Extract for Vegetables from Ecoworm that’s formulated to naturally stimulate the growth of vegetables.

In this video, we apply the stimulant to our raised beds, tomatoes and corn, and we walk you through everything we’re growing this year in our vegetable garden.

What we find enticing about Soil Extract is that it’s a 100% natural humic fertiliser made from vermicompost. This concentrated extract, according to Ecoworm’s website, “contains a full complex of humic, fulvic and amino acids with macro and micro elements, soil antibiotics, phyto-vitamins and micro organisms for easy plant absorption.”

This means it’s full of goodness that will help improve soil structure and replenish nutrients that will positively impact plant growth and vegetable crop yield.

We will be doing a follow up post and video in two weeks time.

We would like to thank Ecoworm for gifting Soil Extract for Vegetables to us. All our remarks and opinions shared above and in the video are honest and based on our own experience.
